How come she'll sit on this one?!

Wow. Lots going on right now.
All of a sudden our house is up for sale, and we've got an accepted offer on a beautiful place down the road!
Saturday morning on my way to my mom and dad's I noticed that one of my favourite houses was up for sale. I thought to myself, "Crap! we're gonna miss out."
After talking to Matt and my parents, we decided that it wasn't out of reach. Our house is in great shape and ready to sell as is. So, we put an offer conditional on selling.
It all happened so fast! In our area these properties don't come up very often. Everyone wants a country lot, and so when they happen to come on the market, people turn into vultures.
You don't buy for the house. You buy for the property. This lot even backs onto my Nanny's field. Perfect! Even better, my parent's house is on the other side of that field!
I'm just hoping we can sell quickly!
Wish us luck!

Ugh. I know I say it all. the. time., but Hailey keeps us hopping!
Sunday morning I ran out by myself quickly to get some last minute errands done, and came home to a hysterical baby girl.
Apparently while Matt was fixing the piano bench, she managed to slam it on her thumb. This bench is not just wood. It's got metal in it, and it's extremely heavy.
I couldn't get her to settle down and Hailey is not a crier. She's a tough cookie, and it takes a lot to set her off.
I couldn't even tell which hand she hurt until about 40 minutes later. Still very upset, I figured I'd look again. This time her right thumb was almost twice as big as the left, and it was slowly turning more and more purple.
It got to the point that I thought I was going to have to puncture it to let the pressure out. I was concerned for her nail.
These pictures don't do it justice.
Poor girl. I gave her some tylenol, and eventually she settled down, but I felt so bad for her. She favored it all day and today she is still saying "bo-bo" as she shows me her finger.
Let's just hope the nail stays healthy as it heals.

Today was the last day of drop-in dance classes for the girls, and let me tell you, in the six weeks that we went, I saw such an improvement in Hanna!
It was amazing to see. Today she worked so hard to do exactly what Gracie was doing at all times. This was the first time that she stayed focused the entire time. She has so much fun, which is why I put her in, but just to follow someone else's directions, and take her slightly out of her comfort level was another reason for putting her in.
There were three little girls today who had to keep being reminded where they were supposed to be and what to do. Hanna was not one of these little girls! She was listening and watching the best she could and she did awesome!
She didn't have any one-on-one help during these classes, so being able to even come close to keeping up was excellent.
When regular classes resume in September she will have an aid that will work only with her for the entire class, so I'm hoping for her sake that she can keep up a little bit easier. I know she will. She's amazing.
Gracie was a great help through these classes, and it really wasn't fair that she was more focused on Hanna than her own dancing. After one of the classes I was telling her how awesome she did and how helpful she was to Hanna, and she said "Yeah! I know, but it's really hard work watching Hanna and watching the teacher at the same time!"
Poor kid. I'm glad that she can focus on herself in September because she really does love these classes!
She's such an amazing sister to Hanna. When Hanna got sick the other night, she covered her up on the couch and told her that if she needed anything just to ask her. "I'll get you a drink if you need one, Hanna. Just ask me okay?"
A little bit later on she came up to me (while I was on the phone) and told me that her and Hanna had just said their before bed prayers. "Hanna did the 'Father, Son, and Holy Ghost' part, but didn't really know what else to say, so I helped her. But she did really good!"
I know Gracie is always going to be there for Hanna. She is the best big sister I could have ever asked for, for Hanna. All three girls are so blessed to have each other.

Cameron turned three today, and Kristyn wanted to throw him a cowboy party, so that's just we did! (Kristyn did 90% of the work so don't give me any credit!) There's no better location than my parent's house for this theme, so we brought all the props and supplies to their house for the day.
Here's a couple pictures of the setup.
Just because I mentioned recently that Hanna's stomach has been trouble-free lately, she was sick the couple days before, and ended up just sleeping through most of the party. :( Poor kid.
The other kids had a blast though.
Kristyn made some hilarious photo props and we set up a "photo op" area, and it was a huge hit!
I only have some of these pictures. Kristyn has the rest. They were pretty funny.
My dad saddled up Sassy and all the kids got to ride. It was nice that it was such a cool day. Perfect day for a pony ride.
Cameron was so cute opening his presents. He was thrilled with every single card, and so excited about all the gifts. Even if it was just pjs!
Happy Birthday Cameron!
